Richard Simpson hit 80 from 60 balls, and dad Michael 49, in a 128-run fifth wicket stand for Bicester & North Oxford against Hanborough in Division 3 of the MP Sports Cherwell League.
Their 219-6 always looked plenty as Simpson junior (4-34) and Michael Speight (3-43) humbled Hanborough for 131.
l Bic & North Oxford 25, Hanboro 3 Twyford’s Bilal Afzal (4-52) and Tom Cook (4-61) bowled brilliantly as Dinton 2nd were held to 169-9 by Twyford.
But Zawar Hussain (62) and Shahid Mahmood (41) fired the visitors to 172-3 with ease.
l Dinton 2nd 5 pts, Twyford 25 Division 6 Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd had the better of a draw at Great Brickhill 2nd.
Gary Adamson top-scored with 47 as Nondies posted a decent total of 203-7 on a pitch made wet by the overnight rain.
However, in reply Great Brickhill held on at 152-9, despite Ross Brown taking 4-44.
l Great Brickhill 2nd 5, Nondies 2nd 18 Division 7 Bicester & North Oxford 2nd beat Bledlow Village by six runs in a thriller.
Joseph Joynson hit 32 as Bicester were all out for 166.
But Bledlow were dismissed for 160 in reply.
