George Grace (39) saw Swi-nbrook to 170 all out, before Tony Burcham (60) led Brill to 171-8.

Jimmy Appleton captured 6-26 as Chesterton beat Gre-at Horwood 2nd by six wickets.

Horwood were restricted to 132-9, then Graham White (65no) shone as Chesterton reached 133-4.

Marsh Gibbon edged past Oxford Caribbean by eight runs in a Division 2 thriller.

Alex Wallace hit 78 and Sat Vadivale 52 in Marsh Gibbon’s 174-8, Carl Palmer claiming 4-59.

Dave Prosper (69) led Caribbean’s reply, but they fell to 166 all out.

Westcott slumped to a 106-run defeat against Clifton Hampden.

Morley Benson (83) helped Clifton to 205-5, before Arthur Beard (4-14) and Steve Wetherall (4-32) combined to shoot Westcott out for 99.

Fringford were dismissed for 118 as they went down to a 77-run defeat to Radley in Division 4 in a match reduced to 39 and then 35 overs due to the deluge.

Batting first, Radley reached 195-8 from their 35 overs.

In reply, Fringford failed to cope with the menace of Manley Du Preez who ripped through their batting line-up with 5-26.

In Division 7, Westbury 2nd went down to a 96-run defeat to Stonesfield 2nd.

Paul Jackson (83) led Stonesfield to 182-8, before Adam Lambert (4-31) and Dan Sherbourne (3-34) combined to dismiss Westbury for 86.

In Division 9, Chesterton 2nd defeated Charlbury 3rd by 100 runs.

Phil Lowe (97no) led Chest-erton to 266-2, before taking 3-40 as Charlbury were held to 166-7 in reply.
