LAUNTON girls and Charlton-on-Otmoor boys teams won the annual Kwik Cricket Festival for The Cooper School Family of Primary Schools took place at Bicester and North Oxford Cricket Club.
The event, organised by The Cooper School on behalf of The North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership, saw more than 150 Year 5 and 6 children take part.
Eight girls’ and boys teams teams from Longfields, Langford Village, Glory Farm, Finmere, Fringford, Charlton-on-Otmoor and Launton Primary Schools played in the Festival.
The winning teams have qualified for the County Kwik Cricket Finals to take place later this month.
Darryl Woods, youth development officer at Bicester & North Oxford CC, handed out advice and presented the certificates and trophies.
