MARSH Gibbon reached round two of the Airey Cup after seeing off hosts Chipping Norton by 26 runs in a tense finish.
Sam Richardson top-scored with 50 not out, while Steve Turner added 49 in Marsh Gibbon’s 207-8.
Then Sat Vadivale claimed 3-51 in Chippy’s 181 all out, Arthur Ward top-scoring with 58.
In the Telegraph Cup first round, Fringford crushed hosts Risinghurst by 208 runs after rattling up 273-8 in their 45 overs.
John Bacon led the way with 72, before George Williams took 3-17 and Christian Mann 3-26 as Risinghurst crumbled to 65 all out.
Rehman Ullah had a fine day for Westcott to help his side to a narrow one-wicket win at Kilkenny.
Ullah claimed 5-60 to help dismiss the Carterton-based side for 180.
He then scored 67 and Mark Strong 47 as Westcott edged to 181-9.
In Division 5, Andy Wynd took 5-14 and top-scored with 37 to help Brill to a six-wicket win over Charlbury 2nd.
Charlbury were all out for 79, before Brill eased home at 83-4.
