FOOTBALL: Worcester fall short of century
Gary Wiggins and Lewis Coyle smashed doubles as Worcester & Bletchingdon Res thrashed Marston Saints Res 6-0 in Division 2, but were disappointed to fall one short of their century of goals.
Ian Roberts (pictured, left) and Lee Jones were on also on target for the leaders, but they were denied their 100th goal when Ryan Randall's strike was ruled out for offside.
In Division 1, Charlton United threw away the lead against Marston Saints as they went down to a 3-2 defeat.
Chris Stalker fired home from the penalty spot to put Charlton ahead, but Andy Thomas headed home a Kane Adams corner to equalise.
A slick move then saw Gary Duckett give Marston the lead, and the game looked all over when Thomas tapped home from close range to make it 3-1.
A late strike from Nathan Carbon reduced the deficit, but Marston held on.
BCS Bardwell were hammered 8-0 by Adderbury Park, with Neil Skidmore hitting a hat-trick.
Craig Bagnall and Ashley Bignell netted doubles, while James Gibbard was also on target.
