ICE HOCKEY: Dax facing fitness test

OXFORD City Stars give a fitness test to Dax Hedges (elbow) ahead of tonight’s NIHL Cup clash with Invicta Dynamos at Oxpens Road (5pm).

Stars who want to bounce back after last week’s first defeat of the season, a 6-3 reverse against Bracknell Hornets, are could be without Alan Green.

Meanwhile, Sam Arnold has been promoted to the full squad after impressing for their alternate squad.

Coach Jeff Sykora said: “Sam has been working hard in training and has been positively contributing to the team and has earned his place in the Stars line-up.”
