Oxford found newly-promoted Marlow too strong, going down 3-1 in South League Division 2.

The home side went ahead early on, but Oxford rallied with Kelly Scott and Kim Haynes testing the keeper before Rachael Lammey netted with a deflected shot.

The visitors continued to push forward after the interval, but were punished by a Marlow break from deep.

A third Marlow goal finally ended Oxford’s hopes of a point.

Oxford Hawks drew 2-2 away to Chelmsford in the Investec Conference East.

With Jo Tolson in exceptional form, Hawks went ahead on 15 minutes, Kathryn Poulter’s deflected cross being volleyed in by Katie Hewitt at the far post. It was 2-0 ten minutes later after a surging run from Cita Haines found Lucy Stewart, who buried the ball with her reverse stick. Chelmsford reduced the arrears from a penalty corner and grabbed an equaliser five minutes from time.

Witney came from behind to draw 3-3 at Southgate in South League Division 3A.

After conceding early on, Witney levelled with a deflection from player-of-the-match Charlotte Manning, and then stormed 3-1 clear via Denise Shaw and a second from Manning. However, they could not hold on for three points after Southgate scored twice in quick succession.

Bicester outgunned Wokingham 4-1 in Trysports Three-Counties League Premier 2.

The visitors led 2-1 at the break, with Gina Girvan on the mark for Bicester Ella Weston equalised from a penalty flick, before Kath Ryan and Lilla Venning wrapped up the points.

Kidlington went down 6-5 in a thriller at Reading despite taking an early 2-0 lead. Kasey Butler bagged a hat-trick, with Kerry O’Sullivan and Ellie Desmond also on the mark. OTHER RESULTS.
