Didcot Town boss Gary Elkins is confident his players can write a new chapter in the club’s history by beating Blue Square Bet South side Maidenhead United at Loop Meadow Stadium in tomorrow's FA Cup third-qualifying round tie.
Although their opponents are two leagues higher, Elkins feels his side are more than capable of pulling off a shock.
“We’re on a high after going seven games unbeaten,” said Elkins.
“So the game is there for us to go and win. We’re going to have a real go at it. “It would be massive for a club at our level to win because we’ve never got past this stage before.
“I really hope we do get a result and get more people down here.”
Richard Peirson returns for Didcot, but Alex Stanley is away so Taylor Janes is added.
