Didcot Phoenix riders enjoyed success at Newbury Road Club’s ten-mile time trial.
Zoe Ludwig-Tantrum was the first lady rider home on the undulating course in 29mins 8secs, while Pete Tantrum, Ian Middleton and Dave Rodger combined to take the team honours with a total time of 1hr 11mins 59secs.
Pete Warwick, Neil Morris and Pete Annells also posted good times.
OXFORD City’s Steve Wright finished third in a separate Newbury 10-mile time trial.
He took the minor honours in 22.39 with the hosts club’s Ian Greenstreet first home in 21.19, followed by Hounslow & District’s Nic Stagg in 21.46 on a fixed gear machine.
Oxonian’s Matt Rowley won the final 10-mile evening time trial in the Beeline Cycles-sponsored summer series on the Chesterton course.
He crossed the line in 22mins 55secs, beating Fairly United’s Paul Granger, who posted 23.39, with Oxford City’s Clive Thomas third in 25.08.
