OXFORD City triple jumper Nathan Douglas does not expect to compete again this season.
Douglas, who missed the Olympic Trials with a hamstring injury, had said he hoped to be back before the end of the campaign.
But the 29-year-old, from Oxford, is now already looking towards 2013.
Asked about competing again in 2012, Douglas tweeted to the Oxford Mail: “Looks unlikely as there is no need to rush now the Olympics have passed.”
