Oxfordshire's Minor Counties Championship clash against Wales at Challow & Childrey has been abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The Western Division encounter was due to get under way yesterday, but the first day was called off after Friday’s heavy rain.
It had been hoped that play may be possible today.
But a huge storm early yesterday afternoon left the ground under water, and Oxfordshire Cricket Board officials with no option but to abandon the match.
It capped a miserable weekend for cricket in Oxon with all games in the Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League, Cherwell League and OCA on Saturday washed out without a ball being bowled.
However, the charity match between a John Crawley XI and a Lashings World XI at Christ Church College, Oxford, took place yesterday along with two OCA games.
