ATHLETICS: Kuester strikes silver

Bicester's Dave Kuester won silver in the Midlands (British) Masters Throwers Group Wei-ght (Throws) Pentathlon at the Moorways Stadium in Derby.
The Bicester veteran was second in the vet 65 category with 3,076 points.
Kuester was second in the hammer (31.22m), discus (30.38), javelin (31.57) and heavy weight (12.93) and finished third in the shot put (8.98).
lALCHESTER Running Club have rescheduled their Charn-don 5K race on July 10. It had been postponed due to a waterlogged car park.
