10:00am Thursday 1st March 2012

Lewis Garcia bagged a brace for Bicester Town Colts as they won 3-1 at Bampton Town Colts in the Under 15 A League.

Bicester took the lead when a long throw from Charlie Miles was controlled by Garcia who poked the ball home at the near post.

Early in the second half, Bic-ester’s Josh Brooker smashed a shot against the bar, but they didn’t have to wait much longer to get a second goal.

Charlie Miles was upended in the box after a great run, with Ryan Kerwin calmly beating the keeper from the resulting penalty.

Although Bampton clawed one back, Bicester sealed victory when Danny Keen burst past three defen-ders before his cross found Garcia who bundled home his second.

Ardley United strolled to a 6-0 win at Carterton Colts in the B League.

Strikes from Harry Cassidy, Alister Doak, Mikey Palmer, Liam Greville, Jamie Johnson and an own goal completed their tally.

Bardwell edged to a 1-0 win against Bicester Town Colts Pumas in the Under 11 A League.

After a goalless first half, Bard-well took the lead when a pass by Seb Fox found Alex D’Silva who fired home.

Pumas threw everyone forward in search of the equaliser, but Bard-well held out for victory.

Samuel Pearce scored the equaliser as Highfield battled back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Bicester Town Colts in the Under 9 Blue League.

Sam Chennells gave Bicester the lead a minute into the second-half, before Pearce secured a share of the spoils.
