Bicester under 14 girls strolled to a 3-0 home victory against Henley under 14s in a friendly at the weekend.
The hosts took control from the start, with Charlotte Cannon’s powerful runs down the right wing causing Henley numerous problems.
Bicester went ahead when Chelsea Hegarty-Swain fired home after Hayley Beck rifled the ball into the D following good work captain Chloe Ranson.
Henley tried to get back into the game, but Bicester’s defence, superbly marshalled by Emily Hill, held firm.
Beck and Charlotte English went close before Amy Olah doubled their lead with a close-range effort.
Bicester keeper Rachel Long was then called into action as she made a super save to block a Henley forward as she broke through on goal.
After the break, Henley got behind the Bicester defence, but were again denied by Long.
Ranson wrapped it up when she rounded a defender, stepped into the D and fired an unstoppable shot past the unsighted keeper after Grace Julier’s shot had been cleared.
Minutes from time, Long made another good stop to ensure victory and a clean sheet.
