BRADLEY Smith narrowly missed out on his first MotoGP points of the season when finishing 16th in the Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider, from Forest Hill, was eight seconds behind Alvaro Bautista who rounded out the top 15.
Smith qualified 15th and was running inside the points with ten laps remaining.
