BRITISH Rail are celebrating after retaining their Oxford & District League Division 1 title.
A 7-3 victory away to Forum D put them out of reach of their nearest challengers and took them to their second ever crown.
Darren Jones was the main man with another maximum, and was the only player to see off Forum’s super-sub Kiarash Shaddel.
Forum B took the runners-up spot after beating their D team 10-0, while Bicester’s concession dropped them to fourth below Forum A.
Division 2 champions Forum E overcame Bicester B 8-2 to finish on an impressive 64 points.
Vikings C sealed second spot by seeing off their B team 7-3, with James Speedy and Conor Savage both recording maximums.
Begbroke had mixed results in their two matches without Paul Humphrey.
They started with a 7-3 defeat to Gladiators A, where a maximum from Paul Knight set the scene for the victors.
But Begbroke bounced back to beat Bicester B 8-2, as Janet Brown and Dawn Pearce won three each.
Division 3 winners Forum H ended their season on a high by beating Holton A 8-2, thanks to Tak-Wa Yau’s treble
