CHINNOR have rung the changes for their National League 2 South match at home to struggling Broadstreet tomorrow.

Centre Orisi Nawaqaliva and prop Ricky Cano are placed on the bench to allow Henry Lamont and Nick Bingham game time for the second-placed team.

With Tom Jubb having returned to Coventry and Jack Ramshaw injured, Tom Ranaboldo comes up front the second team to play at lock.

Director of rugby Matt Williams said: “The rest of the season is about maintaining the 14-point gap between us and third place.”

Chinnor trail ten points behind leaders Cinderford.

“That is a substantial lead for an in-form team,” said Williams.

“All we can do is worry about ourselves and make sure we keep winning.”

Following their 10-7 defeat at Barnstaple last week, Henley Hawks should get back to winning ways when they entertain bottom club Wimbledon.

Banbury target a ninth-straight league victory ahead of their trip to Old Centralians in South West 1 East.

Winning their game in hand would see Bulls climb above Chippenham into second – the league’s sole play-off spot – and strengthen their promotion hopes.

Head coach Matt Goode said: “The boys want to go up, they want to test themselves.

"We’ll see what happens, if we keep playing like this, who knows.”

Meanwhile, Witney take on Chinnor 2nd in the semi-finals of the Oxfordshire Cup.

The west Oxfordshire side have reached the last four without playing a game after being handed a walkover by Bicester.

The winners of the tie will face Banbury, whose semi-final was forfeited by Henley 2nd, in the final.
