SEAN Walkinshaw will remain with Autobacs Racing Team Aguri for this year’s Super GT Championship.

The Chipping Norton driver, who will again partner Shinichi Takagi, is targeting a push at the GT300 title in his second season in the series.

The championship begins on April 7 at Okayama in Japan and the 24-year-old cannot wait to get back behind the wheel of his BMW M6 GT3.

Walkinshaw said: “I’m so pleased to be returning to Super GT again this year with the ARTA guys and especially with Shinichi-san as my teammate.

“We’ve got a strong package and we’re determined to mount a big challenge for the title.”
