OXFORD City and Abingdon Youth battled out an exciting 2-2 draw under floodlights as both sides maintained their unbeaten league records in the Oxford Mail Girls League's Under 15 League.

After a goalless first half, City went 2-0 up as Damini Bhagat bagged a brace.

But Abingdon fought back as Farah Khan and Lily May struck to earn a share of the points.

Bhagat was in red-hot form in the Under 16 County Cup as she smashed a superb double hat-trick in her side’s 9-2 victory over Thame Youth.

Caitlin Cox, Ella Finnegan and Jessica Styles were also on the mark for City, while Thame replied through Yasmin Knock and Halle Poland.

Quarry Rovers ran out 2-0 victors at Didcot Casuals in the Under 13 Blue League.

Miriam Strong put Quarry in front, before Nell Brown finished off a fine move to double the scoring and wrap up the points.

Didcot Casuals saw off hosts Stonesfield Strikers 2-1 in a hard-fought Under 12 League clash.

Stonesfield went in front after a fine run and cross from Erin Marie-Humphris found the net.

But goals from Imogen Hooper and Lily Norton secured victory for Didcot in the second half.

Braces for Evie Doyle and Idunn Sighvatsdottir helped Summertown Stars Red to a 4-0 victory at home to Chalgrove Cavaliers.

Summertown Stars White were held to a 0-0 draw against visitors Barton United.

l THE Under 9 teams of Easington, Mansfield Road, Quarry, Summertown Jayhawks, Summertown Kookaburras and Wantage took part in the first ever futsal event held at the new sports hall in Charlbury’s Community Centre.

Summertown Jayhawks won the competition with Wantage taking the runners-up spot.
