HOCKEY: Nick Harding hits hat-trick as Bicester earn friendly win
NICK Harding scored a hat-trick as Bicester earned a 7-4 friendly victory over Berkhamstead and Hemel Hempstead.
The hosts trailed 3-0 during the first period, but battled back.
Chris Birch swept home, before Harding hit his hat-trick.
Douglas Beattie, Chris Bishop and Elliot Cooke also netted.
Bicester Ladies completed pre-season with a 3-3 draw against Oxford 4th.
Maddie Smith scored, but the north Oxfordshire side trailed 2-1.
Beatrice Gunn equalised, only for Oxford to make it 3-2, before she fired home again.
