BEN West has been crowned the Mota-vation Series under 19 men’s champion, with another impressive performance.
The Bicester teenager completed his successful campaign with a 13th-placed finish, third in his category, in the final round at Oxford.
West, who crossed in 22mins 17secs, beat Banbury Harriers’ Owen Knox to the under 19 title.
Alchester’s Matthew Thatcher was 21st, while clubmates Jamie Bagnall and Colin Hornby were 28th and 29th respectively.
Samantha Usher, also of Alchester, crossed the line in 71st overall as she clinched the ladies veteran 45 crown.
