BICESTER’S Luke Norris endured mixed results in the first round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship at Culham, near Abingdon.
In front of a bumper crowd, Norris qualified fifth for the two MX2 races, but went on to finish 20th in the first.
He faired much better in the second, taking an early lead before coming home fourth.
The Geartec Husqvarna Racing picked up 19 points overall.
