TOWER Hill beat Hook Norton 9-5 in a remarkably high-scoring Oxford Mail Girls League Under 14 clash.

Kasey Griffin hit a four-timer for Tower, whose other goals came from Georgia Smith (3) and Milly Wilkinson (2).

Gabrielle Heath (2), Emily Dix, Carly Hand and Georgia Street replied for Hooky.

Abingdon scored six goals in the first half on their way to an 8-1 victory at home to Quarry Rovers.

Sadie Timbs notched a hat-trick for the hosts, whose scoring was completed by Jevon Brown (2), Farah Khan (2) and Ruby Colleton. Sofia Denno netted for Quarry.

A splendid display by keeper Abi Weston could not prevent Launton Ladies losing 3-2 at Carterton, whose goals came from Courtney Lusmore (2) and Ellie Walecki.

Lauren Badland and Eleanor Mander scored for Launton, who led 1-0 at half-time.

Oxford City bounced back from the previous week’s defeat to win 3-0 at Barton United, thanks to efforts from Molly Jones, Jessica Styles and Damini Bhagat.

However, there was success for Barton in the Under 15 League as they enjoyed an 8-0 win at Carterton with efforts from Amanda Osarobo (3), Elisha Cox (2), Zeriah Sutton (2) and Lucy Orpin.

Grove eased to a 3-0 victory at home to Summertown Stars White in the Under 13 Red League as Rose Kent, Amelia Turner and Cara Kerby found the net.

Summertown Stars Red came from 1-0 down to win 3-2 away to Tower Hill in a game noted for two fine goalkeeping displays.

Isabelle Riley scored twice for the hosts, but Anna Hamerow (2) and Mathilda Gilbert fired Tower Hill to victory.

First-half strikes from Leanne Elias, Elizabeth Wotherspoon and Lily Harries gave Oxford City a 3-0 win at home to Kidlington, who were unlucky to hit a post.

In the B League, Charlbury won 4-2 at home to Benson United, two of their goals coming from Georgie Davis and Mia Fulbrook.

Fiona Baker’s hat-trick was the highlight of Kidlington’s 8-1 win over visitors Witney Vikings in the Under 12 League.

Other scorers for the hosts were Phoebe Pipkin (2), Faith Toon (2) and Rebecca Pegden, while Tegan Crow netted for Vikings.

Launton Ladies paid for their generosity as they lost 10-3 at home to Stonesfield Strikers.

As the visitors turned up with only seven players, Launton agreed to match their numbers – to their cost.

Issy Todeschini scored seven times for Stonesfield, with their other efforts coming from Lara Richards (2) and Alice Smith. Mille Caswell (2) and Lillee Clifton scored for Launton.

Oxford City were slightly flattered by the 3-0 margin of their win at home to Tower Hill.

There was not much to choose between the teams, but City found the net through Summer Hill, Esme Roberts and Kayleigh Tubb.
