REECE Bayliss said it felt brilliant to score six goals as Ardley United hammered Buckingham Athletic 9-0 in a pre-season friendly.
Matt Cruse, Troy Bryan and Dan Jones also netted in the testing summer heat against the United Counties League Division 1 side.
Bayliss was delighted to get on the scoresheet and for Ardley to record a victory after defeats to Hook Norton and Tring Athletic over the last week.
He said: “It felt brilliant to score six. I enjoyed the game despite the heat, but the result was the main thing.
“Passing wise we were good, and we had them chasing us for most of the game.
“We took our chances well, all of us.”
