Oxford Hawks Ladies fought back from 2-0 down to secure a 2-2 draw at home to Olton in the Investec Western Conference.

The visitors led 2-0 before Hawks responded with a wave of attacks.

Their pressure paid off as Ella Cusack set up Katie Hewitt who deflected in.

Then Cusack scored her first goal for the club.

Only a superb late save from Hawks keeper Hughes ensured a draw.

Oxford snatched a late goal to secure a 3-2 win at home to Oxford Hawks 2nd in South Clubs League Division 2.

The hosts led 2-0 at half-time with strikes from Annabelle Denly and Rachel Lammey.

A quick double from Kara Kerr and Claire Werlinger levelled the scores early in the second half, but Catherine Reaney’s goal gave Oxford the win.

Defending champions Oxford reached the quarter-finals of the England 2nd XI Plate with a 4-1 win over Bath Buccaneers, thanks to Lara Wilkinson (2), Laura Pickervance and Laura Smyth.
