OSCAR Heath scored 16 points as Chinnor recorded their first home win of the season with a 31-17 victory over Clifton.
Sam Harrison’s converted try gave Clifton the lead in the National League 2 South encounter, but the hosts drew level on 24 minutes when Jake Olley went over.
Four minutes later, Salva Lloret crossed and Heath converted to make it 14-10, before a Bradley Barnes penalty reduced the arrears at the break.
The visitors went ahead on 50 minutes as former Chinnor forward Alfie To’oala scored a converted try for 17-14.
Chinnor came back and Greg Goodfellow crossed on 56 minutes.
Heath added the extras as they retook the lead 21-17.
And they dominated the last quarter, with Heath crossing in the corner before he went over again on 80 minutes from a quickly-taken penalty.
Henley Hawks slipped to a fifth straight defeat in National League 1 as they were edged out 23-18 by Fylde.
The visitors were rewarded for a positive start, with Anthony Bingham breaking a tackle to score and Chris Johnson adding the extras.
But the match suddenly got heated, resulting in a red card for Fylde’s Ben Vernon and a yellow for Henley’s Billy Moss.
From the resulting penalty, Hawks drove to the line for Charlie Davey to drop over for an unconverted try.
But a Johnson penalty gave Fylde a 10-5 lead at the break.
Two Johnson three-pointers either side of a James Comben penalty saw Fylde extend their advantage to 16-8.
And the visitors were awarded a penalty try which Johnson converted.
That did not stop a late a rally from Hawks and a converted try from Rob Bell as well as a Comben penalty earned them a bonus point.
