OXFORD United head coach Michael Appleton has missed out on winning the Sky Bet League Two manager of the month award for October.
The U's collected 13 points last month, equalling their record away win in the Football League with a 5-1 success at Stevenage last weekend and climbing to second in the table.
It also included a 1-0 win against leaders Plymouth Argyle, but Pilgrims boss Derek Adams was awarded the monthly prize, after his side won all their other matches to move five points clear.
Northampton Town's Chris Wilder and Mark Yates, manager at Crawley Town, were also nominated.
