OXFORD United will visit Exeter City in the FA Youth Cup second round later this month after the pair enjoyed big wins this week.
The Grecians ran out 6-1 winners at Bournemouth FC, almost matching United’s 6-0 scoreline in their victory over Kidlington.
The date for the tie is yet to be confirmed, but must be played by November 21.
As with the FA Cup, the top flight teams enter in the third round and U's joint youth team coach Leon Blackmore-Such is aiming for a repeat of last season.
He said: “We had the privilege of going up to Man City (a 2-0 defeat) and seeing what it’s like at that end of the scale.
“I hope our boys get that opportunity again, just so they can see where they can pitch themselves.”
