NORTH Leigh continued their unbeaten start to the season as they came from behind to beat Didcot Town 3-2 in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West.

The first half was a feisty affair and Didcot went ahead when Matty Woodley's corner was headed home by Adam Learoyd.

The Millers levelled when the referee penalised keeper Leigh Bedwell for a foul on Kieran Sanders.

Aaron Woodley converted from the penalty spot.

Didcot restored their lead moments later when Woodley's free kick was flicked home by Andy Ballard.

The visitors levelled within 30 seconds of the second half as Elliott Osborne-Ricketts headed home.

Resolute defending then denied the Millers a third, but they broke through with 20 minutes to go as Callum McNish found the net.

Didcot pushed late on for an equaliser, but North Leigh held on for the win.

Didcot: Bedwell, Heapy, Organ (Deabill 82), Ballard (Self 61), Carnell, Learoyd, Martin, Longford, Janes, Dutton-Black, Woodley. Subs not used: Thompson, Gannon.

Wantage Town were unable to make it three league wins in a row as they were beaten 3-1 at Swindon Supermarine.

The visitors took the lead after 11 minutes when Jake Johns headed home Ben Whitehead's corner.

However, the hosts equalised through Bradley Gray's free-kick on 26 minutes.

Whitehead then hit the post for Wantage as the sides ended the first half level.

But the visitors went behind just after the break, Jacob Davidge slotting home and, despite Whitehead going close, Luke Hopper sealed the points for the hosts with two minutes remaining.

Banbury United played out a goalless draw at home to Evesham United.

The visitors created the better chances and thought they had won it late on, but had a goal disallowed for offside.
