Ryan Craze continued his impressive run of form with a sprint double in the Oxon & Bucks Track & Field County Championships at Horspath.

The Radley ace set championship best times of 10.94 and 22.85 seconds in the under 17 100m and 200m respectively.

Clubmate Luisa Chantler-Edmond won the under 17 shot put with 12.64m, while Aislinn Baird (43.11m) took the senior women’s hammer.

Oxford City’s Jade O’Dowda won the under 17 80m hurdles in a rapid 11.57, while Banbury’s Michael Dawes claimed the under 17 hammer with 52.45m.

Four Abingdon AC youngsters excelled with victories.

The oldest of the quartet was Fiona Bunn, who collected the under 17 women’s 3,000m title in a personal best of 2mins 25.23secs.

Dan Kelly won the under 15 boys high jump, while there were also victories for Beth Darwent in the under 13 girls 800m and William Barrett in the under 13 boys javelin.

Bicester also enjoyed success.

Holly Griffiths-Brown won gold in the under 15 high jump, with a leap of 1.40m, and in the long jump thanks to a personal best of 4.68m.

She also set a pb of 43.53secs to win silver in the 300m, as well as claiming a brace of bronze medals in the 100m and 200m sprints.

Millie Couzens was also a double champion, winning the under 13 girls’ long jump (4.22m) and 200m (29.96secs).

Brother Tom Couzens won in the under 15 high jump with a personal best of 1.48m, as well as a silver in the long jump (4.57m).

Further Bicester victories included Connor Wilce in the under 17 men’s triple jump (12.18m) and Jess Cherry in the under 20 women’s triple jump (9.38m).
