A TROUBLESOME thigh injury means George Baldock is expected to miss the final two games of Oxford United's season.
The right back picked up the knock in the goalless draw at AFC Wimbledon earlier this month and is unlikely to recover in time to feature in United’s final two games of the campaign.
Baldock, who made 12 starts after joining on loan in February, has returned to parent club MK Dons, although the loan will not be terminated in case he returns to fitness.
U’s head coach Michael Appleton said: “He’s struggling and I don’t think he’ll make either of the two games, to be honest, so he back at MK Dons.
“We might not (see him again), but we’re certainly not going to close the door on it, we’ll see what happens.”
