Ben Case, who trains at Edgcote, near Banbury, continued his most successful season to date when Phare Isle ran out an easy winner at Huntingdon yesterday.
Kielan Woods sent the ten-year-old into the lead at the second-last flight in a handicap hurdle over three miles and two furlongs, and he quickly went clear to win by 13 lengths at 11-2.
It was Case’s 16th winner of the campaign.
