Kennington Athletic lifted the Oxford Mail Youth League Under 12 Knockout Cup, beating Florence Park Blue on penalties after a nervy 1-1 draw at Abingdon Town, writes Paul Lyon.

Athletic were first to score with a long-range shot from Kamil Adediran that flew into the roof of the net.

But Connor Barrett struck a deserved equaliser for Park to send the game into extra time.

With the match going on to penalties, Kennington goalkeeper Louis Plaisted was the hero of the day, saving brilliantly in sudden death to give his team a 6-5 victory.

Spring A League leaders Grove Challengers Black edged out Oxford City 1-0 thanks to a goal from Archie Brew to keep their unbeaten record.

A double from Sam Agg handed Chalgrove Cavaliers White their first league victory as they won 2-0 at home to Rotherfield United.

Archie Couper hit a five-timer for Spring E League leaders Crowmarsh Youth Ravens in their 9-2 victory at Quarry Rovers Diamonds.

Kelan Morris and Max Blanjaar each hit a brace to complete the scoring for Ravens, while Kieran Matthews and Amari Bedawarik-Thomas replied for Diamonds.

A Harry Fisher hat-trick helped Harwell & Hendred to a 4-2 home win over Cholsey Bluebirds in their Under 13 Knockout Cup quarter-final.

Kian Meskini hit a brace for Bluebirds, but it was not enough as Fisher’s treble and Ciaran O’Mahoney’s effort handed victory to the hosts.

Florence Park are through to the Knockout Shield semi-final after a 8-2 win at Crowmarsh Youth Revolution.

Braces from Jeremiah Yearwood, Addison William, Kyle Woods and Elijah Moses won it for Park, with Lukas Hale and Archie Brew scoring for Crowmarsh.

In the Spring A League, Summertown Cobras kept up their fine form with a 5-0 victory over Crowmarsh Youth.

Jack Perrett netted twice and there were also goals for Hamish HarrisonCushing, Matthew Maudsley and Charlie Hopwood.

Milton Wilson hit a hat-trick for Wantage Town in the Spring D League, but it wasn’t enough to prevent them going down to a 6-4 defeat at Didcot Casuals.

James Kirkman was also on target for the visitors, but doubles from Antonio Plaku and Cameron Blake, as well as Jack Ellis and Challice Mullins goals, gave the home side victory.

Callum Lucas bagged a hat-trick to get Oxford City off to a winning start in the Under 11 Spring A League with a 4-2 win at Didcot Town Red.

Kyle Hall also scored for the visitors, while Oliver Tyler and Oliver Wilkes netted the home side’s goals.

Wheatley Youth wrapped up the Under 14 C League title with a 4-1 victory at Faringdon Town – their first title win in eight years of trying.

Harry Cudd got a brace and Joel Taylor and Connor Madden also scored. Dom Allum replied for Faringdon.

Jack Evans hit a four-timer as Abingdon Youth beat Summertown Stars 9-2 in the B League.

Kieran Hill and Billy Wilson netted two goals each, with Alex Woodham completing the scoring for the hosts.

James Othen and Sam Mathews scored for Stars.

A hat-trick from Morgan Brown and a Hassan Ahmed brace gave Oxford City a 5-2 win over Oxford Blackbirds.

Grant Singleton and Kaye Winstone netted for the visitors.

Kidlington Youth won 3-2 at home to Harwell & Hendred in a Knockout Cup quarter-final Aaron Jutti, Jamie Hudson and Callum Rolfe scored, with Joe Blackwell and Scott Webb replying for Harwell.

North Leigh are through to the Under 15 Knockout Cup semi-finals after their 3-1 victory at Crowmarsh Youth.

Zak Farrow scored twice and Taylor Southam was also on the mark for the visitors, with Oliver Bird hitting the consolation for Crowmarsh.

Two goals from Jed Pivett gave second-placed Kidlington Youth Celtic a 2-1 victory at Summertown Stars in the B League, whose sole reply came via Merlin Elias.
