City of Oxford won a clutch of golds at the second weekend of the Oxfordshire & North Bucks County Championships in Aylesbury.

Emily Nisbet, 15, started their medal run by winning the women’s 400m individual medley in 4mins 57.04secs.

She also won the women’s open and junior county championship titles in the 400m freestyle in a time of 4.28.12.

David Murphy, 16, took the men’s open 400m individual medley county championship in 4.32.45 and won silver in the 400m freestyle (4.11.21).

Chris Currie took gold in the men’s multi-class disability 400m freestyle.

There were also golds for Alissa Clarke in the girls 15-year-old 400m freestyle (4.36.95) and 400m IM (5.23.90).

Freddie Cook won gold in the boys 11-year-old 400m freestyle (5.11.82), with Delphine Little, Sillah Safiya, Megan Smit and Jemima Gibbs winning the girls’ 11-12 4x50m IM (2.19.88) and 4x50 freestyle relays.

Emilia Chen, Natasha Fenton, Dotty Goodgame and Chiara De Vita won the 13-14 4x50 medley relay (2.09.65). Gilchrist joined Chen, Goodgame and De Vita to take the 4x50 freestyle relay (2.09.65).

Bicester Blue Fins’ Kieran Bird, 15, won two junior titles at the same event.

Bird’s time of 4mins 2.54secs in the 400m freestyle earned him the title of overall county champion and county junior champion.

He also won the 400m individual medley in a record club time of 4mins 39.06 secs, to earn him second place overall.

Lottie Wynne-Jones lifted the 12-year-old 400m freestyle (4.41) and the IM (5.24) titles.

Oliver Inness took the 14-year-old 400m IM (5.01) and 400m freestyle (4.28), with Tia Falkner won her first county gold in the 11-year-old 400m freestyle (5.43).

Abingdon Vale Daniel McNamara took the boys’ 12-year 400m IM, while Emily Ford won the girls’ 12-year 400m freestyle.
