Oakley United stayed within three points of Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division leaders Mansfield Road with a 3-1 victory at Oxford University Press.
James Keeble and Sean Coles put the visitors in control with goals in quick succession, but Jimmy Gray pulled one back for OUP.
Despite a battling second-half performance from the hosts, Oakley put the game beyond doubt in the 75th minute when Tom Grant fired home.
At the other end of the table, basement boys Bletchingdon went down to a 4-2 defeat at home to Chalgrove.
Goals from Simon Godfrey and Nick Skiller put the visitors two goals up at the break, but the hosts levelled early in the second half, thanks to a Jamie Wilkins penalty and a volley from Daniel Barrett.
Chalgrove re-took the lead as Skiller got his second, before Tim Cox wrapped it up.
