CORNER House’s unbeaten record in Greene King ODDA Section 2 came to an end as they crashed to a 6-3 defeat at Donnington Community Centre.

Rhys Kerry struck for the leaders in reply to Darren Allen winning the opening match.

Vince Kerry and Gary Cozier edged the hosts in front again and although Michael Kennet pulled one back, a win for Phil Cassidy made it 4-2.

And Donnington took the pairs 2-1 to seal an impressive result.

But the home side roared back to take the next four matches through Pauline Clark, Sam Merryfield, Maggie Dexter-Naylor, Kim Reynolds and Sue Poysor, while a 2-1 pairs win secured a 6-3 success.

Florence Park Community Centre A increased their lead at the top of the Premier League with an 8-1 win at Crown Inn.
