Harrison Deeley was the star as Didcot TaeKwon-Do’s 15 competitors captured 19 medals at the UK Open Championships in Guildford.

Deeley, ten, led the way with three golds and the overall Children’s Champion trophy.

Other golds were won by Andrew Haynes, Richard De Winton, Paris Carbonari, Kirsty Miller, Nikki Brennan, Przemek Psiur and Louise Morrow.

Silvers went to Tyrese Willett (2), Faye Miller, James Bradford, and Megan Dod-ridge, while Haynes, Faye Miller, Brennan and Psiur also added bronzes.

Didcot TKD sisters Kirsty and Faye Miller were part of the England ladies team that won the Home International Black Belt Team Championships in Glasgow.

Skipper Kirsty Miller had the honour of receiving the President’s Cup.

In the men’s team event, former St Birinus School pupils and Didcot TKD members De Winton (captain) and Carl Davis led England to double victory.
