BILLIARDS: Ashton can't keep up with deadly Jones
THAME A came from 2-1 down to beat hosts Ashton 4-2 in the first round of the Gentworks Oxford & District League’s Atox Cup.
Russell Jones, playing off a +20 handicap, had breaks of 21 in both frames of his 75-69, 75-60 victory over scratch player Terry Chambers to turn the tide for Thame.
