Carterton made it two straight wins in Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 West thanks to a 2-1 win at Shortwood United.

The victory saw the west Oxfordshire side became one of three sides with 100 per cent records.

Jamie MacDonagh put the visitors ahead on 33 minutes before Craig McKay doubled their lead three minutes later.

Although Will Hawse clawed one back on 68 minutes, Carterton held on to keep up the pressure at the top.

A goal from Dan Poole was in vain as Hook Norton lost 4-1 at Longlevens who are top.

Adam Hemming scored a hat-trick with Shaun O’Connor also scoring for the hosts.

Clanfield beat Oxfordshire rivals Letcombe 1-0, thanks to a goal from Rob Hoskin.

North Leigh Res defeated New College Swindon 1-0 at home with Harry Taylor on target.

Wantage Town Res drew 1-1 at home to Lydney Town which was delayed following a bad injury.

Dan Timbrell scored for Wantage, Niall Halford replying for Lydney.

Didcot Town Res went down to a 2-0 defeat at home to Finchampstead in Division 1 East whose scorers were Gary Alexander and Harry Swabey.

Henley Town eased to a 2-0 victory away at Penn & Tylers Green, courtesy of a Grant Kemp strike and an own goal.

Chinnor had to settle for a share of the spoils in 1-1 draw at home to fellow Oxfordshire side Headington Amateurs.

Alex Feaver was on target for Chinnor, with Kyle Harris-Steele replying for Headington.
