Bicester AC’s Millie Couzens broke two long standing club under 11 records at the Heart of England Division 3 meeting in Dudley.

Her winning time in the 600m of 1mins 57.6secs broke a club record that had stood since 1998.

Couzens then finished second in the long jump with a leap of 3.91m which broke a 20-year club mark.

She equalled her personal best with victory in the 75m in 11.7secs to complete a successful weekend.

Amy Gould won the under 13 girls A string 1500m in 5mins 27.4 secs, while Molly Acton took the A string discus with a throw of 13.80m.

Holly Griffiths Brown won the A string 800m (2.40.6) and Maisie Silvester the B string (2mins 56.1secs).

As a result, the under 11 and 13 girls’ teams won their respective competitions.

Tom Couzens landed a double first in the under 13 boys’ long jump (4.49m) and high jump (1.40m) as well as taking second place in the discus (15.97m).

Connor Wilce was first in the under 17 boys A string long jump (5.40m) and second in the shot (8.20m).
