Alchester's veteran ladies produced a star turn in the Oxfordshire Road Relay Championships at Abingdon RFC.
Their three-strong team captured the county over 35 title and defeated their younger rivals to finish first overall.
First-leg runner Sarah Rendell clocked their fastest split for the 3.3-mile course with a time of 20mins 26secs.
With Jenny McBain (20.37) and Samantha Usher (21.09) completing the line-up, Alchester’s consistency saw them home in 1hr 2mins 12secs.
They finished 27 seconds ahead of Headington Road Runners, for whom Diane Moore (19.30) broke the course record on the final leg.
Alchester also finished third in the senior ladies’ category, with first-leg runner Michelle Pank (20.08) making the day’s third fastest split.
Emilie Fidler (21.41) and Olivia Underhill (23.58) completed their team.
Alchester fielded three senior men’s team, with their A side finishing 13th, the Bs 14th and Cs 16th.
B team runner Andy Stickley (18.49) produced their fastest split.
