Oxfordshire Under 14s put up a terrific display to beat Hampshire 2-0 in the Reed Trophy at Hampshire FA’s headquarters in Basingstoke.
Oxon’s defence of Harvey Priddey, Harry Mountford, James Barnett and Tom Carter excelled in a goalless first half.
The visitors took the lead ten minutes after half-time when James Spruyt robbed a defender, and his low cross was turned in by Taylor Southam.
Ten minutes later, Oxon doubled their lead with Nathan Baker’s free kick from the left eluding everybody.
