BICESTER’S new captains got their year off to a good start, with more than £1,100 raised as they drove into office.
Carly Bosher and Michael Jakeman’s event generated £925, while seniors captain Robert Ansell brought in £200.
All three have selected Oxford Kidney Unit Trust Fund as their charity.
They will be hoping to emulate last year’s captains Arun Shyam, Gerry Richardson and Bernard Smith, who raised more than £12,000 for Bardwell School.
