EMMA McDermott triumphed in the opening time trial event of the season at Brill.
The Oxonian rider, whose club were hosting the 15.5-mile event in which there were 27 riders, came home in 52mins 20secs to take victory.
She won in convincing style, finishing more than four minutes ahead of teammate Jem Line.
The men’s race went to Mark Cox, of Fairly United CC.
He came home in 43.17, which was just more than a minute quicker than Oxonian rider Gavin Tillson, who came second.
Fairly United’s Peter Oliver (47.36) crossed the line in eighth place in his first time trial since breaking an ankle at Christmas.
