David Kuester hopes to have broken two British records at the Midlands (British) Masters Throwers Group (MMTG) Throwerama.
The Bicester athlete won four gold medals in the vet 70 age group at Moorways Stadium, Derby.
“Pending verification two results are new UK records and the speerorama distance is the third best in the world,” he said.
Kuester’s UK records came in the ‘discurama’ – an event for various discus weights with 79.35m and the ‘speerorama’ – a similar discipline for javelins – with 62.63.
He also won the schockorama and shotorama for shot-type throws in 53.28 and 40.17 respectively.
