Bicester men’s 2nd slipped dangerously close to the MBBO Division 5 relegation zone after crashing to a 4-1 defeat at home to Eastcote 5th.

And they paid the price after the break as Eastcote scored four unanswered goals, levelling within five minutes of the restart.

Bicester 3rd’s Division 9 promotion hopes suffered a dent as they drew 2-2 at home to third-placed West Hampstead.

Banbury started the brighter and went ahead.

But a slip from a visiting defender saw Trevor Joseph deflect Jason Crook’s shot into the far corner. Banbury restored their lead.

But a second-half strike from Andy Kaye earned Bicester a share of the spoils.

Bicester Ladies beat Maidenhead 3rd 6-2 in Trysport Three Counties League Premier 1.
