Hannah England will compete for the first time in 2014 when she represents Oxford City in a road relay tomorrow.

The 27-year-old GB international races in the Women’s Six-stage South of England Championships at Milton Keynes with Melissa Hawtin, Lauren Hawtin, Jade Walker, Martha Lloyd and Gemma Bridge.

Having missed the indoor season due to illness, England has chosen a comparatively low-key comeback.

“I am just using the race as a training session,” said England.

“It’s going to be great to run with the other OCAC girls, a team event is something I’ve never been able to do with them before.

“We were planning to do it last year, but it got snowed off.

“I have always felt very well supported by the club and am delighted I’m able to join the team on Sunday.”
