JOHNNY Mullins believes Oxford United’s improving home form is down to subtle changes made in the last few weeks.

Results at the Kassam Stadium were hard to come by earlier in the campaign, but the U’s have picked up ten points out of a possible 12 since the turn of the year.

Caretaker manager Mickey Lewis has won both his home games in charge, most recently a 3-0 success against Mansfield Town three weeks ago.

The side will be attempting to claim a fourth successive victory at the Kassam when Burton visit tomorrow.

Mullins (pictured) says it is hard to put his finger on what is different, but something has been altered.

“We are set up a little bit differently at home,” he said.

“I don’t know what it is, maybe it’s a mindset.

“I spoke to someone who watched us and they thought we looked a little more on the front foot, which could be correct.

“Having played in them you can’t always tell, but it’s fine margins.

“If Mansfield had scored first against us it might’ve been a different game.”
