Oxfordshire's boys boys celebrated promotion after winning Group 4A of the Aegon 18 & Under County Cup in Hull.
Oxon opened up with a 7-2 win against Derbyshire before edging out West Scotland 5-4.
It all came down to the final set of the second-pair doubles where Tom Dyakowski and Bobby Gosling held their nerve to win the tiebreak 10-3.
Oxfordshire then beat Gloucestershire 5-3 to seal promotion to Group 3.
It was fitting that Alexis Canter and Josh Crossley, who won all their singles matches, teamed up to clinching the vital doubles encounter 6-3,6-2.
Oxon’s under 18 girls avoided relegation from Group 5B after beating Suffolk 8-1 in their final match at Redbridge.
They had lost 8-1 to Wiltshire and 7-2 to Northants, but the Suffolk success was enough to finish third.
Oxfordshire’s boys finished second and their girls third in the 12 Counties under 14 tournament at Corby.
The boys beat Northants and Bedfordshire 4-0, but lost to Cheshire by the same scoreline.
Oxon’s girls drew 2-2 with Northants and Beds, but were also whitewashed by Cheshire.
