North Leigh boss Mark Gee is hoping that the double signing of Mark Bell and Liam Malone can give his side the boost they need ahead of a congested fixture list.

The duo are set to join from Oxford City and will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s trip to Wimborne in Calor League Division 1 South & West providing necessary paperwork is completed in time.

Gee said it was important to strengthen his squad with such a busy period coming up.

“We have got a third of our games for the season in a six-week period,” Gee said.

“There’s a minimum of 14 games left and we need as many people as possible.

“Liam and Mark have plenty of experience and have been through the play-offs before, so will be important people to have around.

He added: “I think Merthyr and Cirencester will be in the top five at the end of the season, which leaves three more places and we are one of seven or eight teams in contention for that.”

Kieran Sanders is back in the squad after injury.

North Leigh (v Wimborne, away): McHugh, Hole, Organ, Turk, Gunn, Caton, Bowles, Osborne-Ricketts, Walcott, Else, Woodley, McDonagh, Williams, Dobson, Clarke, Hopkins, Sanders, Malone, Bell.

Didcot Town host Tiverton Town with Tom Franklin (hamstring) their only injury doubt.

The Railwaymen made it four straight league away wins with a 2-0 success over Clevedon last week.

Joint-manager Ian Concannon is now hoping to replicate that form at the Draycott Engineering Loop Meadow Stadium.

“Our style maybe suits us better away from home, but we do need to address our home form,” he said.

Didcot Tn (v Tiverton, home): from Foster, Elkins, Woodley, McKirnan, Carnell, Franklin, Dutton-Black, Heapy, Haysham, Mills, Whitehead, Baines, Thomas, Longford.
